Dr. LaSheta P. David, OD

Dr. LaSheta P. David is a native Charlottean, Optometrist and owner of Invision Family Eyecare in Concord, NC.

 In 1992, Dr. David graduated from North Carolina State University receiving a Bachelors of Science of degree in Zoology and a minor in African-American Studies. Dr. David attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA, attaining a second Bachelors of Science in Vision Sciences in 1993 and a Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1996. With over 15 years of professional experience, she has practiced in various modalities, including an ophthalmologic group practice, as an employed optometrist and an independent contractor in a retail setting before opening a private practice in 2008.

Currently, Dr. David serves the community with a combination of compassion, experience and the best optometric knowledge. Her professional affiliations include: President of National Optometric Association (NOA) Past President-Elect, Vice-President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary/Editor member of American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society and Piedmont Optometric Society. Dr. David is also a member of the Concord Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Queen City Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Her involvement in the community includes vision screenings, health fairs and various speaking engagements. She is an active supporter of numerous charitable organizations, including American Diabetes Association, Juvenile Diabetes Association, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America and March of Dimes.

Dr. David is married to Terendius David and they have two children, Taylor and Terendius, Jr. (TJ). She enjoys spending time with her family traveling and participating in various outdoor activities.
